By Love2Hike from West Coast on 03/19/2008 Pros: Stable, Water Resistant Cons: Fit not right for my foot, Heavy Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold weather, Day hikes, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: It's difficult to say if I'd like this shoe. It doesn't fit my foot. I hesitate to go a full size up in a shoe, somehow, it seems the fit is compromised at that point. I think it would be a great stable, comfortable, if a little heavy, shoe if the fit was right for you.
By Crazy Girl from San Dimas, CA on 03/18/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, rough trails Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Every time I try another trail runner, I go back to the Hardrock. The combination of fit, good construction, and good protection from rocks makes other shoes pale in comparison. My only fear is that they will stop making it.
