It fits my curvy, womanly body well, not too tight and not too loose. Just right. The construction is fabulous. I wish more clothing is constructed with built in linings and the other features of this dress. Pockets would be a big plus, but there are very few dresses with pockets anyway. I can see this dress being both dressy and casual, depending on what it was worn with. I've worn it once, since I got it in January, and it's still a bit chilly out to wear it.

But don't buy the size up or you'll be swimming in it. It's got that Marilyn Munroe feel to it.

I am an athletically built size six who generally is a medium for tops and small for pants/skirts, and I can fit another person in this dress with me. I will try to alter it, or relegate it to really casual wear (or for shoplifting melons?), because the price, quality, and appearance of the dress are great.

The back is lower than I'd thought, but not inappropriate for my casual work place and could be worn with a jacket or cardigan.

I'm getting old (heavy sigh) and need a nice dress now and then but find most dresses too short or shaped the way my body no longer is. I'm 5'4" and seem to need something between a 6 and an 8. The length of this dress was great because it just covered my ever saggy knees.

I don't like to iron and it's great to have a dress in my closet that I know is always ready to wear.
One comment about the color; it looked more like a dark rose in the online photo and in reality is closer to red, okay with me but may be a problem for some customers.
