It is soft, the buckle is solid and the color was right.
By Glacier from Bend, Oregon on 06/29/2008 Describe Yourself: Classic, Trendy Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Most belt loops are from 2-4 inches away from the buckle, thus enabling the end of the belt to be kept flat. This one is sewn onto the belt - directly under the buckle; resulting in overhang, worse, the buckle is also prevented from laying flat.
Bought two, both have the same defect.

By MDC from SLC from Salt Lake City, UT on 05/06/2008 Pros: Durable, Stylish, Substantial Best Uses: Casual Wear, Formal Occasions, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Liberal Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Runs a bit long. I bought a size 38, could have gotten a 36, but still works. If I get back to a former 35 inch waist, this will be too big. I've worn it with jeans and with dress slacks. Bit wide for some belt loops, but very nice looking with almost any pants.
