Had to send back and get a small. I wear a 7 1/4-3/8 which is normally about a medium, but the small fits fine and isn't tight at all. M/L was HUGE!!

I had to shrink this hat by washing it a couple of times. Also, it seems to be very stiff. Hopefully, this will change with time. Color is great.
