Modest length comfortably goes from gym to grocery store. I went back and purchased another one. Wish they had more colors because I could can see myself wearing this everyday this summer.
By PA Shopper from PA on 06/17/2009 Pros: Dries Quickly, Lightweight Cons: Poor Fit, Restricts Movement Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The shorts under the skirt were restrictive. I hoped to wear this for golf and walking the golf course. The skort would have made bending uncomfortable since there is little give to the fabric.
By Sewl from Apex, NC on 06/04/2009 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Competition, Cycling, Gym, Running, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought it for running and it was cool and comfortable. Some reviewers suggested that these run a little large and I found that to be true. However, the drawstring allows sufficient adjustment in the waist. The shorts do ride up a bit at the start of my run but they did not bunch up or cause chafing. The pockets are really handy to hold snacks, phone, keys, iPod, etc. The skirt is an adequate length for stopping by the store or other public places after your workout. In fact, the skirt is made from a woven, stretch material that would allow it to be worn in places where one might be uncomfortable in spandex athletic gear. How versatile! I hope it becomes available in other colors.

Weird fit - at least for my body By See God in nature from Denver, CO on 05/25/2009 Cons: Poor Fit, Waist sizing strange Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was so excited to get this item but had to return it. The fit for me was weird. I love Brooks clothing and have never had an issue before. The waist on this skort was too big (I ordered a medium and have wear a normal size 8) and it bagged out/sunk down in the BACK. It fit over my butt just fine but had a 2-3 inch gap in the back that did not properly adjust when pulling the waist strings. Too bad because otherwise it looked great. It may work for you but it didn't for me.
I would by this product again!!! By Dragonboater from South Carolina on 05/22/2009 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Competition, Gym, Running, Team Sports, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wore this product in a water sport competition and it dried very quickly, was very comfortable to wear. I would definitely buy another.
By K from Savannah GA on 05/18/2009 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Competition, Running, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this skirt. It has a small pocket in the front which is invisible which I love. I have used it for running and for going out. I dress it up a bit with heels and a dressy shirt and down with a tank top and flip flops for a night at the clubs at the beach. It is long enough to look like a regular black skirt, but it still works well for running. It does not work well for yoga due to the skirt falling upwards at times and that just doesn't look right. I got the skirt in gray as well. It is well worth the money. Very well constructed.
