By Sara from Fairfax VA on 06/30/2008 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the knit skorts for running much better. The nylon crunches when you move. I do love this one for hanging out. It is pretty roomy though. I sew so took it in down the sides.
By Susan from Pennsylvania on 06/30/2008 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: So far my favorite running skirt. The shorts don't ride up. The length is great-modest, yet doesn't restrict motion.
I love having the small zipper pocket plus the mesh pocket on the thigh that holds my cell phone perfectly.
Based on previous reviews, I bought a size small. I normally buy a medium in anything made by a "sports" company (nike, adidas, etc), as they tend to run small. In this case, the small fits perfectly.
By WalksTheDog from NY on 06/28/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Just what I was looking for - a skort that is not too long, not too short, and comfortable. It fits true to size. The material is quite nice and is breathable. Great product. Great to wear to a variety of places - lots of uses.
By Avian from Columbus, OH on 06/27/2008 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Comfortable Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The only problem I had was I am an inline skater and the front of the skirt was continually blowing upward so it looked more like a pair of shorts. The skirt is made well and comfortable.
By Gorge girl from Hood River OR on 06/22/2008 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable Cons: no for straight hips Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought 2 of these hoping they'd be great. Although I loved the fabric, drawstring and shorts, it looked funny on! I have straight hips, and the shirt part had these bulges on the side that looked weird on me. This is a universal problem with me and skirts it seems. I still wish this fit, as I loved the style, but had to return them :(
By Gardengirl from Albuquerque, NM on 06/13/2008 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Competition, Gym, Running, Team Sports, Warm Weather Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: If I were going to be a contestant on Survivor, this would be one article of clothing I would definitely bring. It fits like a glove, feels better than wearing nothing, (and is MUCH more flattering!), drys quickly, breathes, moves. I love the zip pocket on the skirt and there is a little pocket on the shorts perfect for a cell phone. I have worn this gardening and the dirt seems to be completely repelled. It's also nice for cycling, and looks great just doing errands. I think I could sleep in it, it feels so good.
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SKORT By JENNIFER from JACKSON, MS on 06/12/2008 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Competition, Running, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: LOVE THIS SKORT. INSIDE SHORTS DO NOT RIDE UP WHEN RUNNING. GREAT HIDDEN POCKETS THAT MAKE CARRING YOUR CELL PHONE OR KEYS WITH YOU AN EASY TASK!! GREAT RUNNING SKORT!!
By Equestrienne from east central Indiana on 06/04/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Anytime, Gardening, Gym, Kayaking, Running, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the lightweight but durable fabric. The only thing that kept it from being 5 stars for me was the spandex section on the upper back just below the waistline which has a small fold in it no matter how I tug the skirt down or to the side--it just won't lie smooth. But it's a small issue compared to how comfortable this skort is. Will buy more of this style!!
By May May from Los alamos, NM on 06/04/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, drawstring waist, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Running, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I run in this skirt and have found it very comfortable. The best part is the drawstring waist. So many running skirts don't have this and it really helps you feel like the skirt is not going to fall off. I love the extra pocket on the inside of the skirt on the shorts, too.
Great Running/Sports skirt By GottaHaveRunningSilks from SFBayArea, CA on 06/03/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Running, Warm Weather Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have 3 different running skirts. Best things about this one: high quality; modest length; zip pocket big for credit card, cash, key; drawstring helps adjust size and prevent sliding off hips; very comfy in warm weather. If you are prone to chafing on long runs, possible with any garment, a little preventive BodyGlide works wonders.
