By Classic Searcher from Chicago on 04/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Leather soft-conforms, Non-slip rubber sole Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Just picked these up from the post office; they arrived without the Aquatalia box and were packed in just the Sierra Trading Post box, making me think these were returned a few times. Aquatalia size 10 reliably fits me perfectly (my foot is between a narrow and medium). These fit like a narrow and are quite snug, including over my ankle in the back. I cannot bring myself to take them off however, and think the soft leather will form to my foot/ankle with short time wearing all day today. Not crazy about the huge elastic inserts which compose the entire back half of the boot above the ankle, but that is why they have an attractive leg-hugging fit.

Leather is buttery and soft. shoe part is very comfy! love these boots!

Gorgeous & Comfy, but Narrow Calf By turquoisegrrl from Maryland on 01/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are gorgeous. Even though they were tight on my 14.5" calf, they were extremely comfortable. I love that they are stylish & have a low heel! Plus they are waterproof.
Unfortunately, I didn't realize I have cellulite on my calf til wearing these around the house. Squished it up, kind of muffin-top style. :-(
By HIF from North Carolina on 12/29/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: High-end shopper, Stylish, Very picky Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are great! I must've ordered (and returned) 20 pair of boots this year from several retailers, and none can hold a candle to these. They are comfortable right out of the box, they are beautiful, and they fit my narrow calf perfectly. No sagging at the ankles, either. I've worn them both with skirts and with skinny jeans. They are very versatile.
By Out with the Bluebirds from Reno,NV on 12/25/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Clean, Stable, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the quality and the construction of these comfortable boots and get a lot of compliments whenever I wear them. The shaft is narrow, indeed, but the elastic gores allow pants to be tucked into them too. They do a great job of keeping my toes warm and dry, even after trudging through the snow.
Perfect for messy winter weather! By MM from NYC on 12/24/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Easy To Clean, Stable, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Going Out, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots fit right in with this year's riding boot trend, but are also comfortable and very practical. I've worn them in rain and snow and always stay warm and dry. Highly recommend!
By Sierra friend from western PA on 12/22/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Conservative, High-end shopper, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These were lovely boots, but I didn't find them a good value because the back half of the boot was the large elasticized gussett, with a thin strip of leather separating the pieces. I prefer boots that are all leather.
Aquatalia has an excellent reputation, but I thought this boot reflected some cost-cutting, and I returned them.
By Boot buyer from Madison, WI on 12/18/2008 Pros: Classic Style, Comfortable, Weatherproof, Well made Describe Yourself: Classic, Quality Conscious Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My usual size 7 was sold out, so I was delighted when the 6.5 fit comfortably, even with thicker socks. The shaft is good for narrower calves. I'm a big fan of this brand.
Gorgeous, beautiful boots. By GiGi from Philadelphia, PA on 12/05/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Well Made Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Quality-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Beautiful boots. I love Aquatalia and have purchased multiple pairs (shoes, sandles, boots) because their weather-repellent treatment makes them incredibly durable, so they last multiple seasons through the nastiest weather. With boots, I always purchase a half size higher-did with these-and the fit was perfect. I don't like the elastic panels as much as some and think they look less elegant, but I have slim calves so don't need the extra room.
