By Denverite from Denver on 04/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Looks Great Best Uses: Business Casual Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ecco makes a comfortable good looking shoe. I have a few old pair that still look almost new, after 1-3 years of regular use, and the soles wear very slowly. This shoe is no exception, and looks particularly good. Based on experience with Ecco shoes I would order the larger size if you generally wear two different sizes with different brands.
Top value shoe suggested by podiatrist By E.B. on Wheels again from Cranston,R.I. on 04/10/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had to return the initial size 45 because they were too big. I wore them at work for 12 the first day with no blisters or sore spots and was equally comfortable the next day in them. I have had other Ecco shoes on the recommendation of a podiatrist friend and I have had good wear and comfort since I am on my feet for 10-12 hours at work.
By The Navigator from Flagstaff, AZ on 03/28/2009 Best Uses: Business Casual Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I actually sent these back for a refund. The size ran big for my feet so I didn't get to try on a well-fitting pair but I chose to get a refund instead of exchanging for a smaller size because the shoes felt very stiff and clunky for Eccos. I am still trying to replace some casual business Eccos I have had for some time now and would buy the current Ecco shoes that are finally wearing out if I could find them. But, these Ecco Cap Toes did not come anywhere close to the comfort of the Eccos I bought in the past. The leather was too stout/heavier and very durable looking, but at the expense of comfort. Also, the heel cup was sized right but the toe box seemed too wide so it seemed like, for my foot, if I had exchanged for a smaller size that the heel cup would have been too narrow to get the right-sized toe box for my toe-sies.

Outstanding Value Comfortable Dress Shoe By Bill from Boston on 03/22/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stable Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Black version of these for business, brown for dress casual. Comfortable all day, breathable, cushioned, good support, and dressier than many alternatives. Great for city walking. I switched to Ecco from Allen Edmonds after 25 years- as I got older they got less comfortable- too stiff and not enough cushioning. Note: Eccos do run slightly wide.
By Enzo from Pittsburgh on 03/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Business Casual Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the first Ecco shoes I have owed. My initial impression is very positive. Comfortable right away, nice styling. Haven't owned them long enough to know how they hold up, but I am very pleased so far.
