By Clothes horse from St. James, NY on 12/23/2008 Cons: Too Stiff, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have about seven pair of ECCO shoes, all of which are extremely comfortable (from the beginning). Not these! My feet didn't want to go into them. They had to go back. However, they did look pretty good.
By MNSkier from Rochester, MN on 12/18/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stable, Sylish Best Uses: Business Casual, Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Style Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ecco shoes are phenomenal, but very expensive. I have three dress pairs, and they wear forever. I found this business/casual shoe, and tried it out. The quality and style do not disappoint, and the price on Sierra could not be beat.
By epps from NJ on 12/12/2008 Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this shoe to replace a similar Clark model. I have always heard how comfortable ECCOs are...no way. These were true to length and width, but, the depth across the instep-forefoot was horrible. Even with the insole out the shoes were tight. I can't remember ever having this problem in another shoe! Sent them back - could not see them stretching that much.
TOO BAD ECCO NOW MAKES SHOES IN CHINA .. By Noel249 from New Mexico on 12/10/2008 Cons: Not sized accurately Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Ecco has always been one of the most reliable shoe companies for me - my size is hard to fit, a D, but fairly wide and high instep. Ecco size 47 (Euro) have always fit perfectly. No more if they build more shoes like this in China on lasts that bear no relationship to actual size. I own at least two other pairs of Ecco size 47 that fit wonderfully. I really hoped these would fit, but they were so snug that I could barely get my foot in, let alone lace them up.
