Finally a good nigh'ts sleep. By LD rider from Riverside, CA on 02/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Compact Roll Up, Durable Design, Easy To Inflate, Lightweight, Non Slip Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased this pad to go inside my Sierra Trading Post Big Agnes 30°F Silver Creek Sleeping Bag. I'm 6'2", 235 and roll off the top of other sleeping bag-pad combination's I have tried in the past. This pad slips inside the specially designed pocket in the sleeping bag and stays put. I roll up the bag and pad together so set up is fast. I carry it on my motorcycle so weight and size aren't as critical. I wouldn't want to carry this combo around on my back all day.
Comfortable but a bit heavy for backpack By DishSoap from Mountain View, CA on 08/26/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Design, Easy To Inflate, Non Slip Cons: Bulky Roll Up, Heavy Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Extended Trips, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This pad is great. It is very comfortable, easy to roll up and the non-skid bottom is helpful. Its comfortable enough that I would use it for car camping instead of an air mattress. I think it would be fine for relatively short hikes too. That said, I found it to be too heavy for a recent backpacking trip in the Rockys--it made me wish I had a Big Agnes or Pacific Outdoor insulated air mattress type pad to achieve the same comfort for less than 25 ounces.
By Deb from CA on 08/14/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Compact Roll Up, Durable Design, Easy To Inflate, Non Slip Best Uses: Car Camping, Extended Trips, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is nice. I tried the XL size which I liked the thickness of...3"...but it was very hard to roll up. I wonder what a 2 1/2" would be like. Over all, this is nice.
By Eddie from Utica, NY on 08/11/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Compact Roll Up, Durable Design, Easy To Inflate, Lightweight, Non Slip Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great price, but if you want to spend more, a Thermorest pad is definitely of better quality.
By Chip from North Carolina on 08/07/2008 Pros: Durable Design, Easy To Inflate Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The best sleeping pad I've used for the money. It's no Thermarest but it's also a fraction of the price. It's heavy, though. For car camping it's great.

By Steve from Nashville, TN on 07/14/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Inflate, Lightweight, Non Slip Cons: Bulky Roll Up, Heavy Best Uses: Car Camping, Extended Trips, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Compared to the mats I looked at at REI and Bass Pro...this was a much better value! I didn't care much for the valve style on this one but hey..for half the price and a non-slip bottom...I would buy it over the others anyday! It does roll up a little bit bulky so not for back packers! I am 6' 2" 170 lbs and I didn't feel the ground unless I was sitting on the mat. Once I laid down it was great!
