Very Comfortable...but heavy By Outdoor Ian from Roanoke, VA on 06/12/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Design, Easy To Inflate, Non Slip Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm traditionally a minimalist, but bought this mat for the occasional car camping with friends. Definitely very comfortable! Self inflates very well. Unlike my ultralite mats, I have never had a problem with this shifting around at night. Overall I'm very happy.

Excellent buy! Just what I needed! By Kelvo from Bayamon, Puerto Rico on 05/12/2008 Pros: Big Pad fot BIG guy, Non Slip, Ultra comfort Cons: Big... but I knew it Best Uses: Car Camping, Comfort Camping, Extended Trips, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As I told my friends... If you want a comfortable camping experience.. you need to get comfortable gear and this pad is part of it. Sure, it's big, but I'm 6'2" and 280+lbs and can carry my things around. Just note that the items DOES show it's size and weight.
I recommend it for comfort driven campers.
By Steve from Silicon Valley, CA on 05/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Inflate Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used it in a tent at a campground. Slept well.
I got exactly what I asked for! By Kelvin from Puerto Rico on 05/02/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Design, Non Slip, Ultra Confy Cons: Obviously Not Minimalist Best Uses: Car Camping, Confort camping, Extended Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm mainly a coastline camper so I wanted a confortable and cool pad that can alleviate roots and rocks. I'm 6'2" and 290 lbs so I can really tell you that once inflated, I do not touch the ground ever. It's true that the pad is big and thick, but that's the main key for this particular product. Therefore, complaining about overall bulk and size comes together with an "I told you so!" from the manufacturer and seller.
Excellent product, and thus RECOMMENDED.
By Sailor from Pennsylvania on 04/09/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Design, Easy To Inflate, Non Slip Best Uses: Car Camping, Extended Trips, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ideal pad for old bones that don't take kindly to bumps and hardness on the ground anymore.
By Ozman from Boise on 03/25/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Inflate Cons: Bulky Roll Up, Needs better straps Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This pad is very comfortable. It is quite challenging to roll up small and needs to come with better straps that are attached to the pad.
By lensbaby from wisconsin on 03/16/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Non Slip Cons: Difficult To Inflate Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My .5lb pad wasn't as comfortable as it used to be, and since I don't backpack all my gear anymore, I upgraded to a luxury pad. Probably should've got the 72x25x2, because this one is more bulky than you realize when you order it, and it takes a LONG time to inflate. But the no-skid bumps on the bottom are genius, and the pad seems very durable.
