I would not buy this product again By Cheshire from Olympia, WA on 01/28/2009 Pros: Great Color, Stylish Cons: Falls Too Low Below The Waist Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for work, but after receiving them I can see that they are too casual and trendy for that. They have a very wide leg below the knees and the waist is too low. I am petite so I'm going to have to hem these about 2 inches. I didn't return them as I thought they might be fun for at home or weekends.
By amb from Steamboat Springs, CO on 01/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, High Quality Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: these are cute and were a great deal. The only reason i gave 4 out of 5 stars was because they were way to big and i had to return. i normally wear a 6/8 and needed a size 2 for a proper fit
It's true, buy a size smaller By Dukesmom from Columbus, OH on 01/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Stylish Cons: Color Not As Expected Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I've never bought this brand before, but I'm not sure it's a great fit for all body styles. I ordered the charcoal, but the pants are closer to an olive green. I went with the recommendation to buy a size smaller than normal and that's the right call. They are very comfortable, however.
By city mom from nyc on 12/29/2008 Cons: Low Quality, Poor Fit, Strange detailing Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: too short, too baggy, terrible fit, and very unattractive detailing on the rear pockets. it went back immediately.
By GrammyC from Ashland, OR on 12/23/2008 Cons: Falls Too Low Below The Waist Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These were nice looking, but too large and sat below my waist (not my best look), so I had to send them back.
Gramicci usually a winner By Emily from Central Florida on 12/23/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I love Gramicci but this has an odd fit. OK in the front but the waist stuck out about three inches in the back. Hard to describe other than odd fit.
By Allie from TN on 12/03/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish Cons: Color Not As Expected Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These were more of an olive green and I expected more of a charcoal color. The fit was not all that great either. I typically wear a size 8 and it said to order a size smaller due to fit issues. So I did, and they were too small. If I had ordered an 8, I might have kept them if not for the color (I already have olive pants).
By hip mamma from taos, nm on 10/09/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: overall, there was just too much fabric. i am a 5'6" 130lb size 6-8 and they just made me look frumpy, not to mention short because the hem went on and on. i bought them to wear to work at a spa. unfortunately there aren't pictures of the back of the pant because the back pockets are kinda' chunky - something i would normally like, but i was looking for something streamlined for a 4 star resort setting. fun pants, if you are tall and slender. and the feel of the fabric is great - there's just too much of it.
By EEO from St. George on 06/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Stylish Cons: Color Not As Expected Best Uses: Casual Work Days, Comfort-Oriented, On The Weekend, To School Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Casual, Classic, Stylish Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These fit me great! I am just over 5'9" but I have relatively short legs for my height and I have no problems with the leg length. I think leg length should only be a problem if you are fairly small. At around 140 lbs. I normally wear a US8 but I find that the gramicci size 6 works better for me in many of their styles. These are not what I would call ultra low rise pants. The waist is where many plants have their waist these days, about 1-1.5" below your belly button. My hip bones do not show and are at the at the bottom egde of the waist band. There is also no danger of my underwear showing when I bend over.I ordered the beachwood color and they are more tan than the reddish-brown tone that shows up on my monitor. It's still a fine color, just not quite what I was expecting.[...]They aren't exactly outdoor adventure clothing but they are flattering and stylish pants that are comfortable.
Nice fabric, waist too low By mockingbird from hot springs, ar on 04/26/2008 Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Stylish Cons: Falls Too Low Below The Waist Best Uses: Casual Work Days, Comfort-Oriented, To School Describe Yourself: Casual, Classic Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are a good pair of pants for someone who is comfortable with a lower-rise fit. They are cut generously in the legs (both in fit and length), and the cut appears trendy. The fabric is soft and has a nice drape. I gave the pants 4 stars as someone who likes this cut will probably like these pants. However, I did return them as I prefer a higher waist.
