nice shoe for a very narrow foot By urban walker from san francisco on 11/03/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I read the reviews about them being narrow so I ordered them a size too big, but they were still way too narrow. I offered them to my sister who is skinny and has a very narrow foot, but even she couldn't wear them.
Nice shoe otherwise.

Ok, comfortable, not stunning. By J from Seattle on 06/17/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These aren't as high-end looking as other Clarks I've owned, but they aren't tacky either. They are comfortable and work well with my normal office attire. I am an Earth shoe fanatic and have a very low tolerance for any foot discomfort inflicted by impractical shoes, and I find that I wear these quite regularly and am happy with them.

Superb - if you order the right size By kes from Cincinnati, OH on 02/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Stable, Well Made Best Uses: Casual Wear, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Style comfort Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Exquisitely well-made shoe, and very handsome as well. Be aware, though: it's about 1/2 size too small and a full size too narrow. I've worn a 7 Medium all my adult life so I took the warning from others that this shoe was 1/2 size too short and ordered a 7-1/2 M but can only be comfortable width-wise if I'm wearing thin trouser hose. Also if you have a high instep you'll be miserable; this shoe is crafted to be close-fitting. But it's a handsome shoe for the right foot.
