I have a narrow foot and the offered medium fits fine. Although the description listed a size 39 as an 8-1/2 - 9 (it's usually an 8), I wear a 7-1/2 - 8 and went ahead and ordered the 39; it fits fine. The smaller size wouldn't have worked, and I don't think the 39 would fit an 8-1/2 or 9.

The Glenna clog fits the bill - taking me from yoga class (easy off) to lunch out. The wavy overlays add just enough femininity to girl-up plain capris, look lovely with casual skirts; comfortable enough to walk the kids to the park and play for hours.
