By Sunxena from Louisville, KY on 01/13/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The overall fit was fine, but the length of the arms was too short.
Do not touch if you have a hangnail! By Outdoor Inga from Seattle, WA on 01/13/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Good for layering Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is an unpleasant-feeling synthetic. I was expecting a cozy fleece, and this is more like a clingy polyester shirt from the 70s. If you have rough hands, the fabric would snag. Not Columbia's finest product.
Not a "true" fleece, more sweatshirt. By Hiker chick from Cambridge, MA on 12/26/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like this for around the house. It's soft and sweatshirt-like. It's not a true polartec fleece type or microfleece though, like I was expecting from the description. It's also more of a trim fit than relaxed fit. If you want relaxed fit, buy a size up. I didn't give this 4 stars because I was expecting a real fleece hoody, and also because there is a rough spot on the interior shoulder seam. At first I thought it was a plastic tag piece, but it's not. If I can't fix it by stitching over the spot, I will have to return the item.
Pretty good lightweight fleece By lum from Va Bch, Va on 12/16/2008 Cons: Stitch came unraveled Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The stitch on the pocket came unraveled the first time I wore it. I easily fixed it, but that was pretty quick deterioration. Oh well, it's not supposed to get you to Mt. Everest, or even Mt. Rogers. But, it's cute.

Very comfortable and attractive for nighborhood activities or exercise.
By punchcutter from Nipomo, CA on 06/17/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Thin material. I ordered my normal size and it was far smaller than I expected. It had a snag on the front.

By aqua girl from kansas city, missouri on 04/19/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Transition weather-yes Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this for traveling--it's light weight for taking on a plane, and keeping warm in air conditioning.
Love this sweatshirt. I own three! By Pilates Integration MBS from Twin Cities, Minnesota on 04/15/2008 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Layering Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love this sweatshirt. I bought one a few months ago, and it quickly become one of my favorite layering pieces of clothing. It is light enough to fit under a jacket, and warm enough to wear alone on a spring day. My 11 year old daughter loves it just as much so I ended up buying two more in different colors since we are active women and on the go so much. Great price and a great look. You can wear it to work out in, or with your favorite pair of jeans and sweats on a casual day. Highly recommended.
