Perfect for early fall morning hikes By Ex-Mountain Chick from Redwood City, CA on 11/10/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Flattering Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The fabric works great for the early fall morning hikes that start out cool but warm up quickly with the sunrise. The fabric breathes but isn't 'flimsy'. I needed a pair of longer shorts to bridge the time between shorts weather and long pant weather. These do the job perfectly!
By Laura from Cochran, GA on 11/08/2008 Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I had this brand in a smaller size and loved the shorts, but this pair ran a size smaller and sat too low on the waist for me. I returned them.
Nice shorts for the price By Black Belt Momma from Ohio on 09/18/2008 Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Versatile Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Don't believe the other reviews that say these run small! I'm 5'5" and weigh 120 and a 6 was plenty big for me. Usually wear a 4 or 6 but didn't want to worry about them being too small so got a 6 and they're roomy for sure. Low rise, but that's ok.

By Scratch from WA on 08/17/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Flattering, Stain Resistant, Stylish Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Casual, Eclectic Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are great shorts to wear. They sit pretty far below the waist so if you like 'em high, these aren't for you. They aren't so low that any personal anatomy or underwear is exposed! Also, they are longer in the legs than I expected, but well above the knees. I got a pair for myself and my daughter. We both get compliments whenever we wear them. Just ordered another set of them for us in a different color for both of us. A great bargain!

I wear them when we are boating or at our fishing camp. They are very comfortable for use around the house as well.

Shallow waist, but nice style. By ToddlerMom from Texas on 08/12/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Flattering, Stylish, Washes Well Cons: Falls Too Low Below The Waist Describe Yourself: Active, Bargain Shopper, Casual, Classic Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Columbia shorts always run smaller on me--these are no exception. Maybe before babies, these shorts would have fit fine. I like the style of a lower waist, but these infringe upon the fit through the crotch. Wish I had one size larger for more forgiveness, but for the price I didn't lose. However, I love the style and length of this short--flattering for casual wear and great for active use.

I wish you had more colors. I actually bought two pair of each.
