Super cute but arch hurts By Bubbles Larue from Boston, MA on 04/13/2009 Pros: Cute, Durable, Look Cool, Stylish Cons: Arch hurts, Arch in wrong place, Lacking ankle support Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Flat Footed, Practical Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really wanted to like these shoes. They are SO cute. Love the black and red. I usually wear a size six, but they felt a wee bit tight immediately. And as soon as I put my feet in, the arch was digging into my instep. I took 'em around the block to see if it was just a matter of wearing them in. The tightness might have stretched out over time, but the arch just got more irritating to my feet. I'm sending 'em back. Maybe it's just this particular model. I'm sure they would be fine for someone with a different foot shape....

I would buy this product again. By Wade from Crossville, TN on 01/23/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I walk every morning before going to work and lately my hip has been giving me problems. I decided to try earth shoes and the pain is now gone. I think it's due to the shoes because I have had the pain about 6 weeks and when I switched shoes I could feel the difference immediately. It takes some getting used to because of the backward slant.
Comfortable and Attractive By comfortable shoes from Boulder, CO on 01/16/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Cute, Look Cool Best Uses: Everyday, Shopping, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am only 5' and I prefer shoes that have at least 1" of heel. These shoes make me feel even shorter due to the negative heel. I wish they were waterproof. Otherwise I love the shoe! I plan to buy more.

The price and service of Sierra Trading Post is fantastic for these shoes.
By Bama Paula from Birmingham, AL on 12/20/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Earth Shoes are at the very top for quality of workmanship, materials and comfort. I am especially pleased with the design of the shoes in regards to correcting posture, and the fact that my leg muscles are being naturally exercised as I walk. I wish that I could afford to purchase more styles!
Great shoes but break them in slowly! By Mamachui from Seattle on 12/12/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stable, Stylish Best Uses: Everyday, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this shoe, but it does take a while to get used to . When you first wear the negative heel your calves and achilles will ache the first few goes - I strongly, strongly recommend breaking them in by wearing them for short amounts of time for a week or so until your feet and legs get used to them.
Comfy but a little low in the toe for me By Natural horsewoman from Occidental CA on 11/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Look Cool, Stylish Best Uses: Barbecues, Everyday, Shopping, Travel Describe Yourself: Athletic, Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My feet always say Ahhh when I put on my earth shoes with the negative heel, however, I have fairly chunky toes and while the sideways room is great, the verticle room is squishy for my feet. If you have elegant toes, I'm jealous! and these shoes would be fine.
Could have been a great shoe By earth shoes from New Windsor, NY on 08/30/2008 Cons: Chafes, Hot, Too Stiff Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like how they don't look as strange as other Earth Shoes. They are very comfortable to stand in with great support. They are a bit narrow on the sides and like others said not enough space on the top. I don't have particularly wide or big feet. My foot feels squished wearing these and my skin starts to hurt from the friction. I am going to return these because I'm afraid I will start to chafe. If I didn't have this problem I would keep them as they're great otherwise.
Nice idea, but didn't fit right By bikecommuter from santa rosa, ca on 08/19/2008 Cons: Arch support in wrong pla Describe Yourself: Athletic, Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I've liked other Earth shoes so thought I would like these, but the arch support hit me wrong and they felt narrow and uncomfortable on my feet. I had to return them.
