By John from Connecticut on 07/23/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Love the pockets, Soft, Stylish Cons: Not ideal size range 4 me Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for a reasonably priced, quick drying cargo short for general use and hiking. These fit the bill nicely! I wear a 32 waist and bought the Small size, which are OK, but a "Small and a half" would probably be perfect. (Not a complaint really, just my frustration with being between a Small and a Medium.)

Good for what they are made for By Joe from Salt Lake City, UT on 04/28/2008 Pros: Dries Quickly, Lightweight Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The shorts - a good deal for the price. They dry very quickly, and are stylish enough to do double duty as casual shorts. I have only used them at the beach so far, and worn them before/after the beach, so I can't accurately attest to how durable they would be if I were using them for something more extreme, but they seem to be made well, and I would not expect any problems. I travel around the world every month, so I guess I'll find out shortly how they hold up. My only complaint would be that the web picture does not accurately depict the color - they look almost stone color on the web page, but they are actually a tan color (hence the light tan moniker).
Overall, happy so far.
good shorts, just don't dive in! By Boat Man from CT on 04/10/2008 Pros: Dries Quickly, Durable, Lightweight, Soft Best Uses: Beach, Casual Swimming, Pool Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are great shorts, except for the belt. Dive in and you run the risk of coming up w/the shorts around your ankles! I removed the elastic belt and replaced it with a belt made from nylon webbing.
By 1cleverchef from Greenville SC on 04/09/2008 Pros: Dries Quickly, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Beach, Casual Swimming, Pool Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are pretty good shorts, like someone else had said they are a bit baggy around the legs. 11" inseam is a bit long, but that's ok with me. They look like cargo shorts, rather then just swimwear. So if you are out going to the lake/pool etc. it will not look like you are wearing swim trunks all day. They have plenty of secure mesh pockets and appear to be well made. I have not used them yet, but I'd think they would dry quickly. [...]

Pockets, :PocKets, Pockets (with zippers By old guy from Eau Claire, WI on 04/02/2008 Pros: Dries Quickly, Durable, Great Pockets, Lightweight, Soft Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear shorts for almost six months of the year. I want decent pockets in them, some of which can be secure. Velcro is OK, but some zippers are better. Columbia's Snake River Shorts were the best ever, so they quit making them. I wear these shorts fishing, hiking, biking, camping, canoeing, and out to dinner. The material wears like iron, is comfortable, and is easy to wash. I'm a geezer, so I want a belt that you can get at and pockets. There is no downside.
