It is a very lightweight yarn, and rather open knit. I am a size 16, and I ordered the L, and it fits perfect. It will have to be drycleaned to prevent shrinkage. The sweater looks great worn over a matching tank.Keep in mind that it doesn't close completely in front, so a tank is a necessity underneath. I will probably replace the black ribbon with a smaller ribbon, as it tends to fold over on itself. The sweater is for romantic images, not too frilly, not too plain, just right. Would looke good with jeans, or with tailored clothing, skirt, pants, etc. Very classy, love the color.

I haven't worn or cleaned it so don't know how it'll hold up. It has a lot of detail in both the knit pattern, the ruffled edges and the ribbon which is woven in.

The ribbons on the sleeves and neck make it a bit fussy - I may remove the ones around the sleeves, have not decided. You have to get someone else to tie them, and husbands are not known for making nice bows.
The yarn is soft and it has some nice detailing in the knit.
