Besides the office and casual - it could go out at night with some great boots if you wanted a longer length. Its just plain fun!

By AnnieB from Boston, MA on 10/07/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Nice Color, Nice Fabric Best Uses: Night Out, Special Occasions Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I tried this skirt in a 6 and an 8. I'm 5'-10" and I usually wear an 8, but this sits low on the waist and the 6 seemed roomy to me. The length wasn't particularly flattering to me because of the way the bottom of the skirt comes in like a bubble and hit right below my knees. However, for the right figure, this would be gorgeous. The deep magenta changes with the light to a lighter, more burnished color and would be gorgeous with a simple black top. The fabric is stunning and the workmanship is very high quality.
Beautiful fabric, faulty construction By JL from WI from Madison,WI on 07/27/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Nice Color, Nice Fabric Cons: Faulty construction dart Best Uses: Night Out, Special Occasions Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: [...] easy to return when necessary.
By Pia from Austin, TX on 06/24/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Nice Color, Nice Fabric Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Style Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is made from unlined dupioni silk. It is beautiful fabric but I think the skirt looks best when it has been steamed so it is not quite so wrinkled. The skirt sits at the waist so this is cut for people who are narrower at the waist than they are at the hip. The style is unusual...sort of a bubble skirt but I think it is nice looking. The downside is it is difficult to match a top to this skirt....
Didn't Care for the Wrinkled Look By Gym Runner from Boston, MA on 04/05/2009 Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Style Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I had great hopes for wearing this skirt to an upcoming wedding. However, the fabric looks like someone slept in it. I sent it back without trying it on. Maybe it will appeal to someone else for a casual event.
By Ann the yogi from Greenville, SC on 03/31/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Nice Color, Nice Fabric Best Uses: Casual Wear, Night Out, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Very cute skirt but I thought it would fit a little lower on the waist. I also didn't read that it was a banded waist and I have gotten so use to low rise pants and skirts, it just wasn't comfortable for me. If you are used to wearing things on you waist, this is a really cute skirt. Just not for me.
By TxTiime from houston tx on 02/23/2009 Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Comfort vs Style: Style Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This ran small on me all around. I would have considered a larger size, but the fit was odd too. The lovely detail work on the hem was put on in such a manner that it pulled the bottom of the skirt more tightly than the rest-like a quasi-bubble style. I was expecting it to hang straight with a bit of outwards flare at the bottom.
By knitting nut from northern iowa on 11/08/2008 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The fabric is very lightweight - it felt more like a slip. I returned the skirt.
