I like these shorts!

Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Roomy, Stylish, Washes Well
Best Uses:
Backpacking, Casual Wear, Hiking, Wet Weather
Describe Yourself:
Avid Adventurer
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
These are roomy- maybe just a hair more than I need them to be, but better than too tight. The fabric stretches which helps when hiking- plenty of freedom of movement.

Comments:
These shorts are cute and stretchy. They are flattering on the front and are just long enough to be modest, but not too long to get in the way of movement. They do run big, though, and I had to exchange for a size smaller.

Comments:
I love these shorts. They have sooo much stretch that there is never a time that they don't feel like part of me. The only complaint I have is that they want to inch their way up in the crotch while I walk. So if you aren't planning to do a lot of walking these would work great.

Great shorts - for a curvey figure
By LizziefleeVerified Purchaser from Mizzou-Rah on 5/28/2008
Waist:

Length:
Feels true to length
Pros:
Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Stylish
Best Uses:
Backpacking, Camping, Travel
Describe Yourself:
Avid Adventurer
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
The shorts are made for a curvey figure. While I have curves, there's nearly a size a difference between the waist and the hips/bottom. A 10 was too big and an 8 was too tight.

Comments:
i love these shorts, but they seem to run small. i ordered an 8 and they were too small, so reordered a 10, they are a bit large, but will work. in the long cordilla pant, i needed an 8 and the 10s were too large. oh well, doesn't make sense to me. but i think i have figured out the sizing and now have 2 pair of the long pants and 2 pair of the shorts. different sizes though.

I like the mid rise (just at or slightly below belly button) more than the tradional higher rise (at natural waist) shorts I am use to with my older style Mountain Hardwear shorts. They are very comfortable, stylish and have the same great wear that MH is known for. The flat flap across the waist is great for hip-belt comfort.

awsome hiking shorts
By hikerVerified Purchaser from billings, MT on 4/6/2008
Waist:
Feels true to size
Length:
Feels true to length
Pros:
Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, stretch is just prefect, Stylish, Washes Well
Cons:
NONE
Best Uses:
Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Travel
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
These shorts are prefect for wearing under a pack . The waist is lined by soft non-stretchy fabic so they stay put. The waist is maybe a touch to high for casual, put perfect under the waistbelt. They dry quickly. I ordered a pair in each color and ordered the pants.
