By Uncle Bob from Earth USA KC on 08/12/2008 Pros: Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants came with a very generous length (more than 34"). Nice leg room to accommodate my short sturdy legs after hemming. Hey, it's a plus that I'll have plenty of repair fabric.
These pants would be absolutely great if they also had a security side pocket on leg big enough for a wallet. As it is the side pocket will hold not much more than a phone.

By Mr. Mike from Cookeville TN on 05/07/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Packable, Stylish Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These lightweight, quick drying pants are very comfortable to wear in casual everyday use, for travel, and for activities where the wearer may be exposed to rain, wet vegetation, river splash, etc. (not waterproof - just quick drying). Roomy construction ensures that there won't be any binding in sensitive areas regardless of whether the wearer is sitting, walking, or stretching to get over that fallen tree in the trail. Belt loops provide extra security while the elastic portion of the waist band provides extra comfort, especially following a hearty campfire meal. The little extra tabbed pocket in the left front pocket is a nice touch, and the buttoned rear pockets provide extra security. Decent value for the money.
By Dr. K. from Michigan on 05/01/2008 Cons: Over sized, Poor product design Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants were not up to Columbia quality. They ran very large. The pants featured a 1960s throwback bell bottom shape.
By Mike from Spruce Hill PA on 04/29/2008 Pros: Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The reviewer who said they were WAY too roomy was dead on. I couldn't decide if going a size smaller would be the answer, so ended up just returning them...even though I loved the feel of the material and the weight, which would have been perfect for golf.
