Almost, but not quite
By Jane Runner from Syracuse, NY on 05/13/2008
Pros:
Breathable, Lightweight, Stylish
Cons:
Baggy
Best Uses:
Camping, Casual Wear, Travel
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Length:
Feels true to length
Waist:
Feels too big
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
These shorts were too big in the waist and too baggy in the rear. I don't think it was a case of needing to order a different size, just that the cut was not right for me. I would recommend these to a friend who was looking for a loose fitting pair of shorts.

rubs on the thighs
By PDX GalVerified Reviewer from Portland, OR on 05/09/2008
Pros:
Lightweight, lightweight, packable
Cons:
Chafes, The front of the legs rub
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Length:
Feels true to length
Waist:
Feels true to size
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
The front of the shorts rubbed against my mid-thigh as I walked (and my thighs are pretty slim, not at all beefy). I figured after wearing them for any length of time they would chafe, so am returning them.

Love Them!
By Girl Loves Green from California on 01/10/2008
Pros:
Breathable, Flattering fit, Lightweight, Packable
Cons:
Inseam Varies
Best Uses:
Backpacking, beach, Camping, Casual Wear, Travel
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Length:
Feels true to length
Waist:
Feels true to size
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
When I pulled these shorts out of the packing, they were so lightweight, I was a little skeptical of how they would fit. I am totally converted- this is a great ripstop-like fabric, and the cut and construction of the garment is very flattering. The pockets are minimized, but accessible. I have not done any serious hiking with them yet, but would have ordered more if there were more colors. They do wrinkle somewhat, and the inseam differed and inch or so between the two pair I purchased.

Order size up
By RoxieVerified Reviewer from Seattle, WA on 12/26/2007
Pros:
Lightweight, Stylish, Washes Well
Cons:
WAY small fit
Best Uses:
Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Travel
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Length:
Feels true to length
Waist:
Feels too small
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I usually wear a 4, but in these, the 4 and 6 were too small. Also I have rather large quads, and the shorts fit a little more snug that I would have liked. Definately recommend ordering a size or two up!
