Very comfortable. The waist is a bit big even on me and I have a high waist, so where it sits on me is lower than my waist, and there is still room. This is not a problem for me since my top goes over. Washes well, no iron. Goes well with sneakers or flip-flops.

Should order a size smaller. Pockets are handy but if you actually use them you look bulky. Like that the front are zipper and the back are velcro.
By Maggie from Maryland on 08/03/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Nice Color, Nice Fabric Best Uses: Casual Wear, Playing golf Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this skort to wear playing golf. The length is just right and I love the fabric. The waist tends to be big (I have 2 of these skorts) but I don't tuck in my shirt so it's manageable.

This product has an unusual fit By runredrover from ohio on 02/01/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Nice Color, Nice Fabric Cons: It grows as you wear it, Low Quality, Poor Fit, Wrinkles Easily Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: As others have written, this skort gets larger at the waist as you wear it. I snipped the waistband at the side seams and added elastic. The splice will suffice. I'll wear it for one season. If you order it, get a couple of sizes smaller than what you normally wear.
By active! from Columbia, MO on 11/23/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Versatile, Wrinkle Resistant Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm quite active & have worn this skort a LOT. I LOVE the Adventure Skort, BUT as I've worn it more and more, it's gotten bigger & BIGGER around the waist. I don't think I've lost enough weight to account for the way it droops & hangs, especially when I have keys in my pocket. The fabric, which is attractive, snags easily. (I occasionally throw a carefully-closed velcro item in the wash with it, and even a hint of the edge of velcro snags it.) The button came off the first time I wore it, and Columbia exchanged it for a new one. I'd definitely buy more Adventure Skorts if they came in a slightly stouter fabric. I have also happily worn & loved the Patagonia Duway skort, which is dressier, slightly longer & sits higher on the waist, and a Moving Comfort skort I got from STP last year.
By JulesRules from Atlanta on 08/25/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Flattering, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Work Days, Golf, Leisure Wear Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Classic, Sexy Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm glad I read the reviews and ordered both colors and a size smaller. The smaller sized skorts fit and look good; although I wonder (along with the other reviewer) why the company would have an exposed area in the undershorts. I plan to wear these skorts for the golf course and also for everyday type of casual wear. I wanted these skorts because they have pockets; however, with the "active fit", I think anything I put into the pockets would look bulky and obvious.
