By retired and outdoors from Hailey, Idaho on 05/02/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Washes Easily Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's a soft, packable, breathable windshirt suitable for hiking or biking when you don't need the full-on protection of really tightly woven material. I wear it over an undershirt and sometimes under a fleece (notoriously porous stuff). Other shirts are either too stiff, or too slow to dry or have too many 'features'.
By sailsation from Maryland on 05/01/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: For a shirt with SPF 50 it had a good price. BUT in size L it runs smaller than expected. And the fabric is thicker than I'd like it to be. I don't see myself being comfortable in that shirt in great heat for it being to tight and to thick. I will therefore return the two that I had ordered. I find also they lack a feminin touch and just look like plain men's shirts.

By Disappointed from Washington DC on 04/01/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Washes Easily Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this shirt because I was going on vacation to Costa Rica and already planned a few hiking excursions. I thought this shirt would be perfect based off the features it has and Columbia usually makes decent produts. I was in a humid environment which this shirt does not do well in. I sweated more than anyone in my group who had on similar shirts. This shirt DOES NOT breath even the tiniest bit. I had to go the rest of my hiking trips without my shirt on which defeats the reason why I purchased it.
By Karen from New Mexico on 03/03/2008 Cons: Quite thin runs small Best Uses: Backpacking, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice material, but pretty thin. You might want to wear a tank top under it. Seems to run a little smaller than sizes listed. When you roll the sleeves up, gets tight.
