I've also found it a good cross-country ski top, for the same reasons.
The killer is the zip. More often that not, the zip doesn't "take", meaning I have to unthread the zipper and try again. Very frustrating, and I have a bad feeling it's getting worse. Reading other reviews, I'm not the only one with this problem, so perhaps it's endemic in Cannondale products.

Best if used in temps above 50 degrees unless you wear a base layer under it. Plenty of little pockets front and rear. Overall excellent product!
