They were so crunchy. I thought I would have to use them as dog pillows. BUT, I put them in the dryer to fluff, put pillow covers on, nice pillowcases and they felt great. Not crunchy, just firm -- which I what I wanted -- pillows to prop up and read on. Now I find myself sleeping on them, too. All in all, a really good buy -- don't be frightened of the crunch -- it magically disappears!

And it smells clean and fresh, unlike some down blankets etc.
