Comments:
This comforter is so warm and fluffy! It is actually too hot for me to use in the spring/summer, but will be perfect for fall and winter. The fabric and construction are of very high quality. I feel like it was a great deal.

Sleeping in Luxury!
By Lil Ol MeVerified Reviewer from Maryland on 03/09/2009
Pros:
Attractive Design, Comfortable, Soft
Best Uses:
Spring/Fall, Winter
Describe Yourself:
Budget Shopper
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
This comforter feels so light and soft on your body, but its warmth is incredible! I keep a cool house in the winter, so I am typically cold when I crawl into bed. With this comforter, I warm up almost instantly and sleep well through the night. My husband likes it, too.

Better than I imagined : -)
By Florida girlVerified Reviewer from Fort Collins, CO on 02/18/2009
Pros:

Cons:
Must be dry-cleaned
Best Uses:
Spring/Fall, Winter
Describe Yourself:
Budget Shopper
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I love this comforter. I am a "smart shopper" and a great product researcher. I looked long and hard to find this and it's perfect for my uses. I realize others say that the fill had shifted or some baffles weren't full, but I suspect that, like anything, they got a lemon. Nobody's perfect. Sierra is so good with returns, though, so I took the plunge and am glad I did. Upon arrival (which by the way was at my front door in almost exactly 25 hours from online purchase!), I immediately checked out the fill and every baffle was filled perfectly. There are no cold spots (I've had one like that before and it's annoying!). I am originally from Florida, so never really needed a down comforter. Now that I'm a Coloradoan, I needed to stay warm and have tried 2 other comforters in the past 15 years. This is a wonderful, lightweight, cozy and VERY affordable comforter and I get to save $$ on heating bills. I just slipped it into the duvet cover (so I won't need to dry clean often) and have been happy ever since. Good luck in your search. [BTW, I'm glad I have an opportunity to share my first experience with Sierra Trading Post because I'm delighted with the service and the product. Thank you, Sierra Trading Post. I'll be back!]

Item was as described
By Cynthia from Branchburg NJ on 01/21/2009
Pros:
Attractive Design, Comfortable, Excellent Value, Soft, Well constructed
Best Uses:
Year-round
Describe Yourself:
Midrange Shopper
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I promised myself that when it came time to replace my down puff that I wouuld do so with one with the baffle pockets inside of the box stitch. This down puff is so well made, the feathers stay put where they are supposed to and the medium weight is perfect for our level of cold. I spent less on this one then I did on my last that I purchased over 12 years ago and it was of lesser quality. Thank you Sierra Trading!

The baffle box construction doesn't work. There are squares that have almost no down and squares that have tons of down. Disappointed.

Not for real winter
By In the FoothillsVerified Reviewer from Colorado on 12/07/2007
Pros:
Attractive Design
Cons:
Poor Insulation
Best Uses:
Spring/Fall
Describe Yourself:
Practical
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
This comforter had a couple problems. There were no attachment points at the corners which would allow it to attach to the comforter cover (to keep it from shifting around in the cover). I was also a little disappointed in the fill level. It just wasn't very thick and would not be really practical for cold winter nights with the bedroom temperature chilly. Otherwise it looked well made. It would be fine for warmer climates for for fall/spring use.
