By Dr. Mom from Fourth Corner Country on 10/28/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Nice fabric and well made, Soft Best Uses: Spring/Fall, Winter Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice quality and warm comforter. Use a duvet though, it is dry clean only. Will use daily late fall, winter, and early spring. Then back to the Hudson Bay Blanket.
By -k from Wyoming on 03/13/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Soft Describe Yourself: High-end Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this comforter! I l have been looking for a nice one for a long time and this totally fits the bill. I got a king size for my queen size bed since I also have a feather mattress on the bed. We keep the temperature quite cool at night usually around 58-60 degrees and stay quite hot with the down comforter and down mattress. I think it will be too warm for the summer, spring and fall perhaps. I haven't cleaned it yet but I will use a cover on it to keep it clean and limit cleaning the comforter which wears it out sooner.
Poor quality for expensive comforter By magpie from Chicago, IL on 02/05/2008 Pros: None terrible product Cons: Poor fill, Poor Insulation, Poor quality Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, High-End Shopper, Luxury lover Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I simply cannot believe I received the same comforter as the other reviewers who spoke so highly of this. When I held the comforter up to the light, you can clearly see some of the baffled boxes had a lot of fill...but some boxes had zero! Since each square in individually filled and stitched, there's no way the fill could have shifted...so there's no way these empty stitched boxes will ever magically attain new down fill in them! Extremely poor quality, this can't go back soon enough.
By Jen from Maine on 12/08/2007 Pros: Comfortable, great loft.. Best Uses: Spring/Fall, Summer, Winter Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The down comforter was well worth the money I spent. It is so soft and warm, its like sleeping under a cloud. I can't say enough good about it.
King-Sized Cozy & Comfort By Jake's parents from Louisville, KY on 12/05/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Good Insulation Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I sleep cold and no longer need to wear sweatpants and socks to bed. My wife sleeps warm and gets a bit overheated. If you sleep warm, you might consider a lighter comforter. Otherwise, enjoy the comfort and warmth. Images shared by: Jake's parents
