Comments: The salesperson who answered the phone was so enthusiastic about this comforter and she was RIGHT ON. Why did I wait so long to buy one? My daughter also has one, which she needs since she barely heats her house. She raves about this comforter. It even met the approval of a second daughter who bought her down comforter in Germany, and she is a discriminating shopper. Where is the 6th star in the rating system????

Comments: We just moved to central New York state where the icy wind blows all winter. Even so, we like to keep our thermostat low -- healthier, and energy conscious too. These comforters were our first major purchase for the house -- we bought one for us, one for our teenage son. A big investment in bedding, to be sure. We have used high-end European-made comforters over the years, but found them unbearably dense -- we'd kick off the covers in the middle of the night and freeze. This particular model provides the perfect balance of comfort and delicious warmth when the wind is howling all around the house. We sleep through the night undisturbed, the weight and the warmth are heavenly. Can't say anything yet about the ease of care, but the exterior fabric has a lovely silky cambric hand, and it's tightly woven. No drifting down when you shake out the bedding! Superior workmanship -- should provide years of use. Five times the cost of whatever you could buy at your local "mart" but no comparison in quality.
