By DEB "the shopping queen" from Pittsburgh PA on 09/28/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Soft Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: at first look, I liked the quality but was uncertain of enough down to be very useful. Yet, the boxed design distributed very evenly, no misses, and it will be warm enough for most winter nights without a heavy bulk.
the king size does not give extra width, but sufficent to cover and plenty of length. the satin trim is an attractive and uncommon touch. I like the fabric and workmanship as well. a keeper for us.
if you want a full pile and extra warmth, this is not the purchase for you.
By GearGirl from Madison, WI on 08/07/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Soft Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this because our regular down duvet (which we bought for Wisconsin winters) is too heavy for summer. This is a great alternative for summer sleeping. It's not very thick, but you still feel like you have a blanket on you. I slept under it for the first time last night and it was just what I was looking for.
By Farmer Tom from Santa Fe, NM on 08/06/2009 Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I decided to buy this blanket based on the reviews...one which said it didn't smell of goose feathers. Unless I was sent the only one that was gamey smelling, I definitely would not recommend this product. I have other down blankets and sleeping bags and none have ever come close to smelling this bad. Also, the fabric is a bit too stiff for a blanket.

Great CHI!! I am trying to change all bedding and items I use to natural, no synthetic. Seems to be working as getting better sleep.

By Speechless in Reno from Reno, NV on 12/29/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Easy To Clean, Soft Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I slept under a similar down blanket in Australia and had to have one of my own. I have a down quilt which is much to heavy and warm but the blanket is just right.
Warm, cozy and nicely oversized By Otis's Mom from The Great Northwoods of Wisconsin on 12/24/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Easy To Clean Describe Yourself: High-end Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great down blanket! I was very pleased when I opened the package and it didn't smell like feathers which meant it was very clean. The fabric is tight enough so the feather tips don't poke through and the satin trim adds a luxurious touch. A great value on a high end piece of bedding. Get one before they sell out!
