Super soft, warm, and cozy. I use them year around. They wick moisture away from the body while sleeping, so with my 'hot' flashes, they work excellent.

I have not yet noticed the terrible lint shedding some have mentioned (even after sitting on in black Dockers), although I get that it is not micro-fleece, but it does the job for me and Lila Belle. We will see how it holds up. I am ordering another for assorted other uses and extra cold nights. Would be nice to have in other colors that would match my dog.

Cant deal with the shedding By GoldSeals from Miami Florida on 02/03/2009 Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Cant get rid of all the shedding and pilling.Washed it once and then ran it though the dryer several times with no heat to get rid of the pills and its still pilling.I Followed all the directions in washing and drying it.Pills are all over the place and on the bedding.I bought 2 of them and their both going in the trash can.Went back to my old blankets which are of better quality

It is also very soft. My cats love it, and I ordered two more after the first one arrived.

Very little lint and shedding-washed beautifully. Wish I had bought more at this price! Cozy!

Couldn't overcome the lint residue.... The residue was all over my clothes and anything the blanket touched.

I have used it on its own and with a thin wool sheet. It is a REALLY good base layer for your bed. That is how I recommend it be used.
