The kids call it the stuffed animal blanket, it is that soft. It does shead but I think that will go away in time. Can't beat it for the price.

This filled the bill nicely. Haven't cleaned it yet, so I can't speak to it's ease of care.

I have backed a few of them with flannel top sheets from bed sets and they make a wonderful t blanket for warm to cool weather. The blankets by themselves are so soft that I had to buy extras
so I could keep mine on my bed.

This is very thin and limp, showing every wrinkle under it. Dark green color not like the teal color shown in photos online. However, my wife likes it, and it's good for the summer.
