I'm 6'0" 220 lbs - pretty solid build - and I fill out the shirt very well. It still looks fine on me, but if it were any smaller, it would look too much like a "muscle shirt" for me to wear. Also, I recently slimmed down around the waist, and I would not recommend this shirt to anyone with a bit of a belly, unless you order up a size

the sizing is strange b/c the burton thermal shirt I got was sized for a normal M.
