By the jolly giant from Michigan on 06/17/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I returned this product because it was too small. I did like the way it looked and the quality seemed good but I am 6'2" and it was just too small. I needed the 2xl not just xl.
By Bigskygyd from Billings, MT on 06/16/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Warm, Water Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cycling, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I use this jacket for hiking, mountain biking, road biking and casual wear. The fit is fairly trim and the sleeves are actually on the long side so the jacket really excels on the bikes. There are thumbholes at the ends of the sleeves that are very helpful in preventing them from working up and for keeping wind out while riding. The wind is always a factor here in Montana and this jacket excels, as a lightweight shell, at keeping you warm on cool windy days.
The only weaknesses of the jacket are that it appears the fabric will tear pretty easily if you catch it on a branch or stickers when riding or hiking. It also will easily get holes in it if sparks from a campfire get on it. Of course, both are true with any lightweight nylon shell!
All in all a 5 star, very well made and functional product!
Awesome "hard shell" for running/biking By Brad from Tuxedo Park NY on 02/06/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend This has become my daily runners jacket, typically with 2 or 3 THIN layers underneath. It's been fine in temps as low as 20' F, which is about the lowest I'll run in.
If there's any question about sizing, I'd suggest moving UP to the next size. I'm 5' 11" and 160 lbs, often hung up between Med and Large. Large was definately the correct size here.
The thumb-holes in the sleeve ends make it an excellent choice for bikers; no problem not using those however, as there's elastic on the sleeve ends which will keep things tight around your wrist. The orange color is somewhat of a "burnt orange" - don't be afraid of the Great Pumpkin! Lastly, the pockets are perfectly located if you need to carry something with you while running/biking - I don't miss the "conventional" pocket locations at all, given the purpose of this jacket.
great breathable windstopper jacket By TonyG from Indiana on 01/07/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, running Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used the jacket over a wicking shirt for a 10 mile run at 30 degrees with 20+ mph winds (17 degree wind chill). It did a great job of stopping the wind, plus allowing the moisture to escape my body. Front pocket vents and vent on back also allow extra ventilation during extreme exertion. I am a believer in this windstopper fabric. Jacket looks nice too!

Don't know how breathable it is.
By Rabbit from Portola Valley on 12/27/2007 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Bike rides, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Jacket looks great and does a great job of blocking the wind. It's been around 35 degrees the last couple mornings and the bike ride was comfy with the new jacket. I like the two tone -the all orange would have looked too much like a pumpkin on wheels !! It's true to size the arm and chest are fine.

It is well made and it looks good too.
