Good Looking and Functional By Stone Troll from North Carolina on 06/12/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Washes Easily Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I only took two shirts with me for two weeks in Zambia, Africa. These shirts did everything they were supposed to do. They kept the sun off and wicked sweat. The bugs stayed away at night with "Buzz Off" and kept me warm in the high 50's. The shirts washed easily in sinks but dryed slower than I would have wished (24hours). I didn't just stay in Guest Houses and Lodges. We went out in the African Bush south of Kitwe and got lost. We pushed through eight foot brush for hours to get back. Then climbed a compound wall into a convent and were laughed at by the nuns. The shirt, soaked with mud and covered with some kind of stickers, did not tear. I wahsed it the next day and it was as good as new. I put this thing through some serious abuse and it's just like new. I would recomend this to anyone traveling or hiking in 40 to 90 degree weather. Can't wait to take it camping in the mountains. By the way my wife loved hers too. Images shared by: Stone Troll
By Q from Glen Allen, VA on 06/05/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Stylish Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As with all Ex Officio products I've owned, the construction and features of the Baja are second to none! The torso and arm vents, and button-up sleeves all help to cool when things get a little warm. The detailing on these is well-thought out and functional in the field, as is the elastic band on the interior of the back, which keeps the shirt from sticking in case you start to sweat!

Really works and comfortable shirt By bigbully from chicago, il on 05/20/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wore this shirt canoeing for a week in the boundry waters, with the buzz off socks and bandana-- the products work very well-- used very little bug sprays for the massive amount of mesquitos which swarm at sunset and hang around till about 11PM. Shirt is airy, comfortable, and can be worn in a business casual setting.
By Chip Quinn from Wayland MA on 05/19/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Backpacking, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice detail (I don't know how much of this is necessary). HI haven't had it long enough to test the sunblock or bug-repellent properties of it. The blue is as advertised. The Wheat is actually light, bright yellow (nice, though)
By SloHiker from NC on 05/05/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this shirt (and subsequently three others in various colors) for its fit and style. I wear them as casual attire and love the breathable fabric and venting features. Great for warm/hot weather wear. I'm a long-time Ex Officio fan.
