It's light weight and allows me to feel comfortable in hot weather. I feel like I am not wearing a shirt at all.
I would suggest this shirt to others By tiaone from SW MN on 09/10/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Stylish, very comfortable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Outdoor Activities, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I received this shirt about 2 weeks ago, so have just worn for work. Very comfy. I read the reviews and ordered a size smaller than I usually wear, and found that to be a good decision. It still has plenty of torso room and arms are slightly long for me.

By Bike Lady from Santa Cruz, CA on 08/31/2009 Best Uses: Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: People had said it ran large, so I ordered a medium instead of a large. The shirt was out of proportion. The top was large, the sleeves were long, and it was too tight around the hip. I returned it.
I would buy this shirt again. By Jane the medical problem from Roseville, Ca on 08/11/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Outdoor Activities, Protects me from sun rash, Travel, YARDWORK Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a rash and a sunscreen shirt was recommended by my doctor. I was hesitant, however I find the shirt comfortable and cool enough so that it does not cling to my skin.
By Trail Runner from Meredith, NH on 08/10/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Hiking, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm using my Trades Winds shirt for hiking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. On a recent hike up Mt. Lincoln and Mt. Lafayette, it proved to be the perfect layer over a short sleeve wicking shirt. The cool temps at the base required an extra layer, fleece was too warm. This shirt really fit the bill. Along the ridge trail between the two peaks, it was just the right coverage in the cool wind. The UPF 30 is a great bonus on the exposed peaks. Only negative, a medium is a big larger than I expected, but I felt a small would not be large enough as an outer layer over long sleeves.
