By trekking mama from littleton, Colorado on 09/07/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Lightweight Cons: Sleeves Too Short, Snags Easily Best Uses: Casual Wear, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've taken the shirt backpacking and felt amazingly stylish in camp. And it's already packed for a trip that includes both hot/desert with sand and bugs as well as high mountain trekking. So it seems versatile. Sizing is the issue. I initially bought the large so that it would easily go over other clothes and the sleeve length seemed fine which was odd cuz i often take a small or maybe a medium. Upon getting it home it seemed really big through the shoulders and wouldn't look good worn by itself. So I traded down to medium and yes, the sleeves, are a bit shorter than they should be. The material is featherweight and seems like it can easily snag. But I'm glad I bought it at half the weight of an older "camp" shirt. Sierra Trading Post was very easy to deal with on the exchange.

By NM hiker girl from Los Alamos, NM on 07/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like this shirt but had to order one size up for a good fit. The only thing I don't like about it is the tab for holding rolled-up sleeves in place - a simple button would be easier to use than the velcro arrangement that's on the shirt. It's difficult to slide the tab trough the loop and then stick the velcro down using just one hand...
polyester piled badly after one wear By yakking from Central FL on 06/24/2009 Cons: Low Quality, Wears Out Quickly Best Uses: Outdoor Activities Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: back side of shirt piled horribly after a single use in a kayak. Must be polyester, not nylon.
