The unfinished hems were a concern so I purch. a dark color and after sev'l washings no unraveling is noticed.
Great - For Somebody Else By California Native from Saint Paul, MN on 08/06/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It is just too small for me. I've seen people wearing shirts that fit the way this one fits me. I have too much self-respect to do that. So I'm regretfully sending it back. Someone who is an "A" or "B" cup could probably wear it wonderfully. But I'm a "D". I'm also guessing that some people will not like the "raw" edges, even though it's a very fine knit. I'd recommend it to a flatter friend, though!
By MissKatieRosa from Western Colorado on 06/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Soft, Stylish, Washes Well Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought the white shirt. It is very pretty due to the embroidery detail all over it. It is not a tight fit but it doesn't hang quite as baggy as the picture makes it look - it is more fitted thru the shoulders and then sort of "drapes" a little. The hem and sleeve edges roll so if that bothers you, don't get it. The only bad thing about it is the fabric is thin, not a heavy subtantial feeling. It's not see-thru but I wear a white tank under it. Overall, a cute "fun" shirt that looks summer-y with gauchos or capris. Also, look at the pictures carefully because the white shirt is styled slightly different than the darker shirts.
By J from chicago on 04/19/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: super small! makes your chest look huge it is so tight (in a Large, when i normally wear a small or medium!). if you have *any* belly fat it will roll up over it. highly unflattering unless you have washboard abs. too bad because the stripes are cute.
would like a more fitted style By J from Chicago on 04/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Soft, Stylish Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: sorry, second review. the previous one about way too tight was for a different shirt! actually, this one is nice and stretchy, but not very fitted. actually quite baggy around the stomach. otherwise, lovely color and nice accent, but the hems are an unfinished style that definitely makes it more casual than i expected.
By Liz from Phoenix on 11/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Soft, Stylish Best Uses: Casual, Going Out Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This top is very flattering and the taupe colored embroidery makes it look interesting and stylish. The neck, sleeve and lower hems are unfinished cut fabric, so it tends to roll up just a bit at the bottom. The embroidery seems to be a little fragile, so I am washing the shirt inside a lingerie bag so the stitching does not become frayed.
By busy bee mom from Holden, MA on 06/02/2008 Describe Yourself: Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Hope to wear it with jeans/ shorts when out with the kids. Just hope the design stiching doesn't pull out.
