By old shopping nerd from Eastern Washington State on 07/20/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality Best Uses: Casual Wear, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased three styles of Smith & Tweed Polos. All three are very high quality except for the marked size. I read other reviews and ordered a large in spite of the fact that I regularly wear either an XL or an XXL. They fit me perfectly but beware of the size when ordering. I have only worn one so far but am planning to wear them all when on vacation. They replace that part of my collection of T's and polo's that are getting tired. The tailoring of these is very nice and some have attractive details like piping or contrasting inserts.
By Redlantrn from Atlanta on 06/26/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, High Quality Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm a pretty well built guy, so I got the large, and its more like a 2x. Now I can only wear it when my old ladys' not around....
By high desert hiker from Los Angeles on 06/18/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: way to big. I had to return. My frame falls between a M and a L. Some M are to small for me and some L are to large. I bought this shirt in a M and it was way to big.
way to big and had to return By desert guy from Los Angeles on 06/17/2009 Describe Yourself: Practical Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I never got he chance to see if this was a nice shirt. I bought a med and I feel that it should have been marked XL. My frame falls between a Med and a large and it was to way to big for me. This shirt can only be worn by kids who are into very baggy ill-fitting clothes.

Smith & Tweed Polos are the best! By Z the Walker.... from Brooklyn, New York on 01/21/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality Best Uses: Outdoor Activities, Walking Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this polo whenI take my AM walks. Fits great, wears well, and holds up after washings. Some people complain about it being a large cut. I wear a 2XL and the fit is great. I don't like a polo that feels like your second skin. Great shirt to just hang out in.

Would be a nice golf shirt too.
By Greg the Wanderer from Albuquerque on 09/09/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, High Quality Best Uses: Athletics, Casual Wear, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a distinctive nice looking shirt that looks more sporty than a regular polo. If you wear both L and XL as I do, go with the Large. It is generously cut in the chest and shoulders.
The downside with this shirt is that even though it's made with "wicking" material, it does not breathe as well as that would imply. Above 80 or so, it can become too warm, it would be perfect for the golf course in the fall.
