By urbancamper from usa on 01/21/2009 Pros: Good zipper, Large capacity, Protects gear Cons: Insufficient Padding Best Uses: Day trip, Hiking, Proffesional work Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: most protective camera pack out there. Zipper on the inside of pack does a great job of preventing zipper blow-out. Really needs waist belt padding.
Just what I needed, and didn't know it. By alcapitan from Troup, Texas on 01/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Good padding, Large capacity Best Uses: Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've had a smaller LowePro back for camera equipment for years, and first thought the Parralax bag would be much to big. However on first use (just a couple hour hike) I think the extra support and the 2 million straps and cords on this bag are going to make it a winner. It is stiff and bulky feeling at first but things got better.
I do wish the waist belt offered more support.
Great Quality, design, workmanship By SciPhotoGuy from Boston, MA on 12/16/2008 Pros: Easy To Load, Highly Adjustable, Large capacity, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Zipper on main compartment will be used most frequently and when under tension. For this reason, a beefy large toothed zipper would have been a better design choice. As it is, I'll be very careful not to stress it when zipping up. Other than that, it's a perfect bag and an excellent design.
Overall very good, well thought out By TonyS from Waterford, ME on 04/02/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy to Pack, Good Padding Best Uses: Primary Camera Bag Describe Yourself: Professional Guide What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This will be my primary camera bag for a day shooting, will use alternate system for remote multiday trips.
Has enough space for everything I need camera wise and gives solid protection.
Better hip belt would be nice, and of course beefier zippers, especially on the main compartment.
