By cricket from gorham me on 07/29/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, High Quality Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It is a great shirt. I was wondering about size when I ordered it. As most know, styles have confused the sizing quite a bit - you buy a large and expect it to feel tight because the market has higher sales for painted on clothing styles. This shirt is closer to the old-style sizing. I buy everything in large or even extra large today but my t-shirts from 7-10 years ago are all medium and are very comfortable. I opted for ordering large because I did not want to have to lose 10 pounds to wear it. I should have bought medium. I would buy another if I had the extra money. Just remember the sizing of 7-10 years ago when you could count on clothing being fairly standardized with sizing. (A funny- the same day I bought another shirt - 3/4 sleeve crotchet shirt - I bought the large-washed it- tight around the belly but somehow my bra straps are showing and very uncomfortable).

By The Woodtick Goddess from Minneapolis, MN on 06/12/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Longer cut Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Basic t. Not too lightweight or see-through. I love the longer length on it, because I have a long torso. Some of you with short waists may not. I haven't washed them yet to see how much they shrink.
By Qwis from PA on 06/09/2008 Describe Yourself: Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The shirts are stretchy, and based on an early review, I ordered a size smaller than usual. The stretch was good, but with an ample chest, it pulled the arms out of place. I have my regular size being shipped to me now!
nice length for plus sized modesty By Jana Banana from www.bananablossom[@] on 06/05/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Cons: A little too stretchy Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the length of this tee! Longer than LL Bean, Eddie Bauer or Land's end cotton tees. Good amount of stretch so the fit is quite generous. Order a size down if you like a closer fit.
By dexldex from Derby, KS on 05/30/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, High Quality Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great basic t-shirt. The substantial fabric is not too heavy, but not flimsy or cheap looking either. It has a very silky look for being all cotton--easy to dress up or down. Looks great on it's own or under a jacket.
Runs BIG with lots of stretch By Jana Banana from www.[@] on 05/09/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Cons: too stretchy loses shape Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a plus-sized retailer's T-shirt. Runs at least one full size big - 22/24W is more like a 26W. Nice v-neck styling - not too deep, not too high.
