By el cheapo from Idaho on 02/03/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Soft Cons: Not baffle construction Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: High quality cover materials, washable, soft and feels like a good weight. Would be warmer if the construction was more baffled instead of just quilted. but plenty warm if your house is above 10 degrees.
Would not pay over $120 for it. use some coupons, get free shipping and get the total to $75 and its a good deal.
By chilly from minnesota on 11/11/2008 Cons: Poor Insulation, Poor Quality Best Uses: Spring/Fall, Winter Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I really wanted to like this comforter, beautful fabric and insulation material (primaloft). However, when the baffels were sown they weren't filled evenly. Some baffels are overstuffed while adjacent baffels have almost no insulation! Seems like seconds :(
Down substitute comforter By Max from Ithaca, NY on 03/12/2008 Pros: Ample size, Attractive Design Cons: overpriced, even for STP, Poor Insulation Best Uses: Spring/Fall, Summer, Winter Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, High-End Shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This comforter is light and large enough to drape over a King sized bed. The insulation is essentially clustered in the middle of each big sewn box, so it is not uniformly warm. But it is warm. The cover is luxurious. I will keep it, although it is less in quality than I expected. I plan to use it always with a duvet cover, both because its size makes it hard to clean at home and because it will be more uniformly insulated that way.
Excellent quality without the sneeze By Kris from Jersey City, NJ on 12/06/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Good Insulation Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: [...] My husband under estimated it at the begining, but he's now a believer and I don't have to be miserable every winter morning anymore.
