prettier than the picture By Feather from SLC, UT on 12/12/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Soft Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The cover on this comforter is a really beautiful satin stripe. I hate to cover it up with the duvet I bought. Yes, the down shifts, but it is really really warm. I have to turn OFF the electric mattress pad because it gets too warm. I sleep in the COLD basement- Temps at 55-60 degrees. It fits fine on the full size bed, but may be too small for a queen
Down unevenly disrtibuted otherwise nice By MST from Leawood, KS on 11/08/2008 Pros: Good value, Quality components, Soft Cons: Down unevenly distributed Best Uses: Definitely winter weight Describe Yourself: High-end Shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Everything about it - the material, the down quality, & construction - was right except the down was so unevenly distributed throughtout the comforter. Some baffles had hardly any while others were generously filled. Had to return it. Otherwise, I would have kept it.
Beautiful but too warm for my needs By Travel Nut from Nevada City, CA on 12/17/2007 Best Uses: Good for snow country Describe Yourself: Practical, Value shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This comforter would be great if I still lived in snow country. It is too warm and too heavy for my foothills location, where my home rarely gets colder than 58 degrees, even with the heater turned off.
