It's lightweight, breathable, cool, comfortable. It comes out of the dryer wearable, though it does benefit from light ironing. When traveling, you could wash it by hand and hang it to dry--it dries quickly--and it would be perfectly wearable. Columbia uses at least a couple of sizing classifications for their sportswear, and we need to ask Sierra Trading Post to start including that info in the product descriptions: This shirt is classified "authentic fit," which is looser and roomier than their "active fit."
