Fantastic Jacket/Value GORE Windstopper By sustainableisgood from The Ocean State on 04/16/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I wanted to post a review on this jacket as its a great bargain from a fantastic company. The Sierra item description for this jacket does not mention its a Gore Windstopper jacket - which it is. The quality and construction is great the gray/blue is a nice color as well. Removable hood is a great feature as well. Plus its NOT made in China like so many other jackets are. I stopped buying Arc'teryx since most of their stuff is now made in China instead of Canada like it used to be.
This is a great jacket and a fantastic value.

It is a semi-soft shell to be more accurate; however, still making less noise than a hard shell. Excellent!
