Each of my children have one and so do my husband and I. We have used them in all our adventures and they still look great. Last summer we were in Moab and hiked Arches Natl, They kept us cool and kept the bugs away.
They are big, so my husband and I bought the kids size for ourselves, (Way cheeper than the adult sizes) and we just cinch down the kids--they stay on really well for them too.

I got one for my 4 year old son and he can grow into it a bit, which is fine. Actually, it fits me, so if you like the look and don't have a huge head... great price, haven't been able to verify the bug factor yet though, it's still coldish here.

These hats are great because they have the draw string cord around the base, it can be tightened to keep it on and t adjust for different head sizes. It was windy at some of the geysers and we saw a lot of baseball hats and other sun hats that had blown off and landed off of the boardwalk. With these hats, my kids didn't get sunburned faces, they looked dang cute, and they didn't fight about wearing them. My son lost his hat somehow, so when I saw the great deal on them, I figured I'd better buy him one again for this summers camping and hiking trips. Images shared by: JJ
