By Stumpjumper Jeff from Charles Town, West Virginia on 10/05/2008 Best Uses: Hiking and Camping, Yard work Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Had my doubts, but wearing the bandana on my head while walking on the AT I noticed lots of gnats, but none of them landed on my face. Can't beat that!
No more messy bug sprays! By Cheryl from Vermont on 08/22/2008 Best Uses: Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought the hat and 3 kerchiefs-one for my neck and then I tie the other two around my ankles or elbows, wherever the bugs are hitting. Works great. I can stay outdoors longer now.
bandana is everything described By jeeper from chickasha, ok. on 08/06/2008 Best Uses: Hiking and Camping, Yard work Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: pulling weeds in the evening when the bugs are worst, I noticed mosquitos would buzz my ears when I wore it around my neck, but never landed on me.
By Bug lover (but not the biting kind) from Cambridge, MA on 07/31/2008 Best Uses: Hiking and Camping, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just got this a week ago, so I haven't fully tested the functionality of the buzz off-- I'm rating on the look and feel. It's true that it's stiff at first (like most bandannas), and the print is one-sided :P, but I was totally delighted to see that the classic bandanna print has bugs instead of paisleys in the middle! I got a kick out of it, and I plan to use this latest camp accessory on the trail soon. If they were still [$] I'd buy a load more of them.
Cute and somewhat effective By Missionary Lady from Martinsburg, WV on 07/23/2008 Best Uses: Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My daughters wear bandannas on their heads all the time. Thought this would be perfect for camping to help keep the bugs away. I think it helped with the misquitos, but the gnats were not effected by it. They still looked great and my girls liked the little insects printed on the fabric. We will try it out again.

I tested them in the woods of south Louisiana, and they help to keep bugs off of you.
I got some in Cammo also, for hunting use.
These are great to add to any survival kit.
Good idea but doesn't cut it By love being outdoors from Washburn, WI on 07/06/2008 Best Uses: Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I live in Northern Wisconsin and the mosquitoes are pretty bad. I tried this bandanna while off trail in the thick woods and unfortunately the mosquitoes still buzzed around and bit my face. It may work in areas where mosquitoes are not that bad but for those areas where the population of bugs is high forget about it.
By knight3218 from New Orleans, Louisiana on 06/21/2008 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Works Best Uses: Any Time Bugs are out, Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping, Sports Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This stuff works, just like my Father said it would.
I was talking with someone and the flying insects of south Louisiana started bothering us.
I reached into my truck and took the bandanna out, and we took turns with it. When one of us had it on, the bugs stayed away, but if you took it off the bugs were back.
I then took out my hat, and we each had protection all around our faces and necks.
This will be Great for the deer season!
