By Doug from vt on 06/04/2008 Best Uses: Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have my doubts whether this works to repel insects. Blackflies did not seem bothered by it.

By cranelady from NJ on 05/29/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Dog wear, Hiking and Camping, Sports Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This bandana looks great on my dog. I don't really know if it helps keep fleas and ticks off of him, as he is protected by Frontline flea and tick killer. The directions say it needs to be washed separately, but it's not clear if it's okay to use detergent.
I would buy this product again. Our experiences with Buzz Off have generally been good, and the bandanna is no exception. Size is great - it even fits my husband's large head.

Nice, but repellant still needed @ dusk By Mosquito magnet from Tallahassee, FL on 05/14/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Nice paisley pattern, Pretty shade of blue Cons: No pattern on reverse, Warm for early falllate spring Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Tried it this eve for the first time; by dusk, though worn around shoulders, got mosquito bites near elbows. Hope it will eliminate need for repellant spray for daytime gardening; need to try again to see. Too snug/warm when tied around neck in humid N FL; may improve after laundered?. There is an obvious 'wrong' side which affects how I will wear it in public.
