By Rosie Cotton from New England on 12/06/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Good Cut, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This coat is not worth the price. No lining; the seams were poor quality - they looked like they would unravel; the toggles are a cheap rope substance with unfinished ends; there is a paper sticker "made in Great Britain" that is stuck on rather than sewn in and the sticker was even upside down. If the coat was under $100 it would be worth it. The wool is 70% wool and 30% something else. Not at all the high quality coat as advertised in the catalog. Overall cheaply made.

Not bad for a "Traditional" fit duffle By Terenzo from Australia on 06/11/2008 Pros: Classic fit, Durable, Warm Cons: Bigger fit, Poor Fit Best Uses: Bad Weather, Travel Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Overall, it's a good jacket...HOWEVER...keep in mind that this is a more classic cut jacket, which means it is a bigger fit, opposed to the modern "slim fit" clothing which are readily available everywhere.
By Young Hegelian from USA on 05/01/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use Describe Yourself: Classic Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was actually looking for a Gloverall but decided to go with this one in the end. The rope and wood toggles are a nice classic touch. The variety of colors is more than adequate. The length is agreeable.
By thelucia4 from Chapel Hill, NC on 03/14/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Warm Best Uses: Fall, Inclement Weather, Winter Describe Yourself: Classic Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a beautiful and classic winter coat. The quality of the fabric and the craftmanship are first-rate. Despite its length and fabric (wool), the coat is lightweight, and it is not at all bulky, as was my former duffle coat made by another manufacturer. The coat exceeds my expectations.
